Honey Sriracha Salmon Avocado Bowl

This week I noticed an opportunity in our community to pick up a basket of produce at an amazing price.  It came with a variety of fruit, as well as some onions and tomatoes – all things we would have no problem using.  But it also came with avocados and limes – we had just picked up some ‘Spicy Creamy’ sauce (Sriracha Mayo) and so this recipe was born.  Was super yummy – let me know what you think!


  • 1 cup Brown Rice
  • 1.5 cups Water
  • 3 Tbsp Sriracha Mayo
  • 10 oz Salmon fillet 
  • 1 Tbsp Raw Honey
  • 2 tsp Lime juice
  • salt
  • Medium Avocado, chopped

Prepare Rice

Bring water and Sriracha Mayo to a boil. Add Rice, boil for 45 minutes
Prepare Salmon

Preheat oven to 425 degrees

In a small bowl, combine honey and lime juice

Place salmon in an oven proof pan

Pour honey/lime juice mixture over salmon

Season with salt to taste

Bake for 10-15 minutes


Assemble Bowl

Remove from oven

Spoon half the rice into each bowl
